This is the Eagle P3 project to build a commuter rail line from Denver Union Station (DUS) to the international airport (DIA)  A complete new right of way  is being built with overhead catenary electrification and “cab / no wayside” signalling.  Because it connects to the class 1 rail system, it is not “Light Rail” and will use full size commuter rail cars similar to what Septa uses in Philadelphia.
